A new school year, a new term...

Welcome back everyone, and we at Epic hope you all had a fantastic summer break.

We've got loads for local children (8-12 years) to get involved in this term. For those who love playing sports and games, there's our Monday Multi-Sports Night which takes place from 4-6pm at KK Sports and Leisure Centre (50p).

For children who want to get into drama, dance and theatre, we're launching our Creative Night at Rosehill School on Wednesday 16th September. This is being run in partnership with the Nonsuch Theater Company (ww.nonsuchtheatre.com), and promises to be a fantastic addition to our programme. The weekly sessions will be term-term only and cost 50p.

It promises to be fun!

Party on the Park 2015 - A great success!

Bouncy CastleOn August 7th, Coppice Park played host to our most Inflatable falling boysuccessful Party on the Park event yet! Treated to some great weather, over 400 visitors enjoyed the event, and there was plenty to keep everyone enthralled and amused. Children were captivated by the circus skills on show and marvelled at the magician's tricks (watch out Dynamo!). The inflatables and face-painting proved to be very popular too. Thanks to the Friends of Coppice Park, and the exhibitors and contributors for helping make the day so successful.

Party on the Park - Friday 7th August (Coppice Park,12-5pm)

Our popular annual Party on the Park event will take place at Coppice Park on Friday 7th August. The party rounds off our 2-week Community Games Programme, and offers a range of fun activities for all the family. This year's wow-factor will be provided by our magician, who will be there to amaze you with his range of tricks. To get rid of that excess energy, we've got inflatables, and mini-tennis, while for those who just love to make things, there'll be arts and craft activities on offer.

It's sure to be a fun-packed day for all the family.

Community Games is coming soon!

Don't let your children get bored during the school holidays!

Community Games, Epic's fun holiday club for children in St Ann's and Sneinton, will be running for 2 weeks from 27th July to 7th August. The activities will be based at King Edward Park. We've crammed loads into our schedule, so there's something for everyone. As well as the usual sports and games we've got arts and crafts, dance and drama workshops, and a chance to write and record a song with the help of our friends from the Community Recording Studio. If you love swimming, we've also got sessions at the Victoria Leisure Centre on the Tuesday and Wednesday morning of both weeks.

Join us at King Edward Park at 10am on Monday 27th July. You'll have a great time!
